After that it'll be ported to consoles. My Time at Portia iPhone Mobile iOS Version Full Game Setup Free Download Sandrock's ports will also be done inhouse and that game is designed based on the premise that it must be simple to port to other platforms.Īs for Sandrock, that game will get a main story in three acts, we expect to see the last part of act 2 within two or three weeks and a full release of that game later in 2023. Portia got more stuff added than was originally planned but its very unlikely that any additional stuff will get added, the devs admitted that the source code was too difficult to build on so they took it as a learning experience and designed Sandrock's game code differently. My personal guess is that it's one of those contracts that can't be terminated. Also, Team17 still has the contract to do the customer support stuff for Portia. The devs aren't really that active on Portia's forum any longer, the game has been completed and no new content is planned to be added. The devs also have a dedicated bug repoting forum there and one person regularly collects bugs and passes the details on to the devs. Sandrock is in many respects an improvement over Portia and there's a very active player community on Pathea's discord mostly centered around the kickstarter beta backers that provide a ton of feedback. That story is probably still listed on Pingle studio's website. It cost Pathea an arm and a leg and Team17 didn't provide any supporting materials since they felt slighted, Pingle studios used the wiki as source material for the port. After that a company in Ukraine - yes, that was before that country got invaded - got paid by Pathea to redo the entire porting job from scratch. In my book Team17's customer support is equally deficient. Team17 was paid to do the porting job and they did a miserable job. The ports to all platforms was done by Team17, Pathea only did the steam version. Do you think your bigotry makes you any better? It doesn't. You're seriously talking out of your arse. Sandrock is a slightly updated Portia offering hope that will inevitably be left in the same unfinished state when Pathea moves on to the next cash grab. ![]() All of the 3d sandbox games from Pathea, a china based indie dev, follow the same pattern. Originally posted by Kikinaak:If Portia seems unfinished here you should see the pile of hot garbage they called a release and threw at the gog customers. ![]() It's a haze of cute, unpolished nonsense that I had some fun with at first but ended up feeling trolled by the designers. This could have been a great game, but it's just mediocre. A lot of it feels very 1990's point and click adventure logic. Some of the loot drops are ridiculously rare (lookin' at you animal skeleton). Django practices with a sword every day but is meh to receive a nice sword as a gift. ![]() And there's no option to drop the mission. ![]() Like when Albert asked me to basically stalk Ginger for him. People ask for favors and you don't get to know what it is until you agree. The bit with the robot was flat out stupid. Or how I had to go on a date with Merlin to get a camera. Lots of the social stuff makes no sense, like the bear is ambivalent to salmon. The combat is a joke that vacillates between blindfolded easy and cheap boss fights. No footstep sounds or damage sounds half the time, weird. NPC's on the treadmill all over the place. I didn't know I had to memorize a dinner order on my first date, heads up would be good. I didn't say Higgins broke my mailbox, but the game played out that way.
